Bow Arts – Summer Performance Evening
Thursday 20 July – Gallery open from 6pm, performances begin at 7:30
Bow Arts Courtyard, 183 Bow Road, London E3 2SJ
Performances return to the Bow Arts Victorian courtyard with 3 works that probe our social and cultural boundaries. Marcus Orlandi’s The Daily Male is a dissection of masculinity and right wing ideology; Adam J B Walker’s Mother is a performative interview in response to an essay written by the artists as a student on the social construction of motherhood in Victorian Britain alongside his visibly heavily pregnant partner; and finally esther moya’s medal was stole from her by, Luis Amalia & Alice Esme is an absurd conversation and exam on the English language, gleefully exploring our relationship with accents and language association.
