Hind Grove Estate play update – give your ideas

Play Association Tower Hamlets (PATH) want your ideas on what you want to see at outdoor play sessions for children aged 5 to 15 years and their families. Giant connect four? Skipping ropes? Find out more about improvements to play spaces and how you can feed into it…
Playworkers are in the ballcourt by Kildare Walk or within the spaces along Hind Grove every Saturday.
In November work will be starting on play spaces as specified by local residents. Changes will take place around the ball court on Farrance Street.
Children (and adults) we have spoken to told us they want to:
– play more sports, so the pitch will have basketball and tennis markings painted
– the basketball backboards will be fixed and posts that can be used for tennis will be added.
– A sunken trampoline will also be installed as requested by children.
We will buy big outdoor games and nets accessible for residents who want to get out and play more. We are keen to keep talking to residents about what resources they would like – for example, giant connect four, skipping ropes and balance walkers..? If you would like to have your say please come along to the Saturday play session or give the office a call on 02077293306.
