Get on the East London water with Moo Canoes
You can get up close and personal with the historic waterways we are surrounded by. Anyone and everyone can come and hit the water – you don’t have to have ever been in a canoe or kayak before.
Moo Canoes is now 5 years old; we started out at Limehouse Basin where our base is tucked under the arches of the bridge, looking out over the marina. It’s therefore very exciting to be able to be able to announce that we are now offering canoeing and kayaking from four different east London bases this year; from Limehouse Basin, Hackney Wick, the Olympic Park and now Poplar Union. We are absolutely delighted to join Poplar Union with our brand new fleet of cow print and pink canoes.
At Moo Canoes it’s all about trying to get anyone and everyone out on the water to enjoy one of the oldest sports, and explore a forgotten part of London from a different perspective. You can get up close and personal with the historic waterways we are surrounded by, entwined with some amazing new, modern landmarks such as the Olympic Park. Anyone and everyone can come and hit the water – you don’t have to have ever been in a canoe or kayak before. You can go as far as you like and give yourself a challenge, or you can just hop on board for a chilled out afternoon floating about. You can explore for a short time or there’s plenty of miles of canals if you want to explore for a full day. There’s loads of great canalside venues to stop in at for something to eat or drink, or you can bring a picnic too. Big groups, small groups, families, couples, younger and older alike are all welcome and we’d love to see you. Our friendly instructors are there to help you hit the water, and ensure you head off out and have a great time.
Our base at Poplar Union enables us to offer a whole different experience to clients, boasting a whole host of fantastic facilities; conference rooms, changing rooms and cafe included.
