How we use and keep your data safe & secure

Poplar HARCA will collect, store and use the information you provide in a way that is compatible with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We will try to keep your information accurate and up to date and not keep it for longer than is necessary.

Our aim is not to be intrusive, and we won’t ask irrelevant or unnecessary questions. Also, the information you provide will be subject to rigorous measures and procedures to make sure it can’t be seen, accessed or disclosed to anyone who shouldn’t see it.

By providing us with your mobile and/or email address you agree to us contacting you each month with the new edition of Say IT.

Say It will send you no more than one email per month and one text message per month (unless you have subscribed to receive ‘other occasional information of interest’, which will be sent no more than once a month in addition to the Say IT monthly email).

Say It uses MailChimp and TextLocal to provide this information and your data will be securely kept in accordance with Poplar HARCA systems and data protection regulations. MailChimp are based in the USA. ie outside of the European Economic Area. MailChimp have signed up to Safe Harbor which provide a standard of protection deemed acceptable to the European Commission.

When you subscribe to Say IT, the subscriber data on the website is processed in the following way:

  • Subscriber data is submitted via the website subscription form and is sent encrypted using the SSL certificate on the Say IT website
  • If you provide an email address and consent your data is stored on Capsule CRM. You can view the Capsule privacy and security here.
  • If you provide an email address and consent, your data is sent and stored on Mailchimp you can view the Mailchimp privacy policy here.
  • If you provide a mobile number and consent, your data is sent and stored on TextLocal you can view the TextLocal privacy policy here.

You are not obliged to sign up and can remove yourself at any time. There is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email edition of Say IT, and you can also contact to unsubscribe.
